Most people know me as one of the main anchors at Digi24. Television, and particularly Digi24, remains very close to my heart, the place I constantly relate to. Among the news reports and broadcasts I made during these years are a few rounds of elections, breaking news and stories about the realities of our daily lives. I presented the news from the early hours of the morning, I covered bombings, horrible accidents and celebrity deaths. “Știrile Zilei” is the programme that came to life in 2019 and which - alongside a very capable team, an editor and a producer – we succeeded in making one of the network's most watched shows. Here I conducted interviews with key figures, local and international authorities and leaders, specialists and unique people. And this will go on, surely

I’ve always liked coming together with people with vision and long-term strategic thinking. Thus, for the past five years I’ve been a part of Alexandrion Foundation’s story and the Alexandrion Experience concept, as a brand ambassador. Alexandrion Foundation is where I stepped up as a moderator for the first time, in the prestigious Constantin Brâncoveau Gala, which awards excellency in Romanian culture. After that I became a supporter for these products, which are 100% Romanian and of which many are sold on different continents.

I’ve also been working with Respo DEEE Association for the past two years on recycling projects and smart use of electronic devices. I hosted educational workshops on the recycling of electric and electronic appliances. And Respo DEEE started the first urban planning contests that include spaces for this kind of recycling.

Banca Transilvania, an active partner in our society regarding ecology, also has me as its ambassador. Together with my friends as BT I talked about sustainability, food waste and environmental protection.

Green Community is a platform that aims to inform and educate the public on sustainability and ecology. Their conferences and studies on mobility and the quality of our cities have become tradition and I am happy to host them each year.

Together with Laura Hâncu, designer and accomplished artist, I found out what it means to wear clothes made of 100% responsible, ethic materials, thoughtful of the planet and of us. I’m speaking of cashmere, silk, and more. Pieces made by Romanian designers are more environmentally-friendly. And our local economy needs support, so I’m happy to contribute to the image of such a healthy brand.

Marquise is another Romanian brand that inspires elegance and sophistication. Marquise’s clothes are a gem and I’m proud to wear them at the most beautiful events I attend.

Astra Film Festival is the first and longest-running film festival in Romania. Since 2021 I’ve had the chance to host the Awards Ceremony for Best Documentaries.

Is the first TV show in Romania about climate change. A lot of people ask me how I came up with this project. I was always passionate about ecology, growing up in a house where I was taught these principles. Twenty-five years ago, my mother used to talk to me about a training course she took in Canada on sustainability. I can only hope that I can pass on this mission of having a clean planet. The show aims to educate and change mentalities. With us are two of the most renowned specialists in the field of climatology: Roxana Bojariu and Bogdan Antonescu. Since 2020, the audience showed us that people are open to making steps towards understanding climate change and to make changes themselves in their behaviour and lifestyle.

Their features capture the realities of the European block and help us better understand the community we are all part of. The show airs Fridays at 10:30PM and Saturdays at 7:30PM.

Caravana Viitorului

Is the first campaign focused on mobility and sustainability produced by Digi24, a project where we partnered with Volkswagen Romania. At the wheel of an 100% electric ID BUZZ we discovered communities in Romania that make efforts to more quickly reach EU’s sustainability targets. After all, we all want a cleaner city with better air quality, green spaces without litter, and educated people. The project is only in its infancy and you can watch the show here.

Romania at the Olympics

Is the campaign we dedicate to the athletes that reach the Olympic Games. The first series was broadcast in 2021, during the Tokyo Olympics. I conducted interviews and ran stories where I brought to light the stories of well known, as well as lesser known athletes who qualified for the Games. Among these are David Popovici, Robert Glință, Elisabeta Lipă, Camelia Potec, Simona Radiș, Ancuța Bodnar, Marian Drăgulescu and Andreea Răducan.

And I’m happy to see how some of them become our colleagues and evolve brilliantly.

Since 2019 I’ve also been an entrepreneur. A very different journey from my day-to-day life in television. And I set on upon this journey knowing that you must try new challenges every day and that at some point I will want to do something else in life. So I opened a small family business, an ecological laundry called Bragadeco. This idea came from my passion for sustainability, but also from my desire to make a change in our community. There has been a host of challenges, but the satisfactions don’t come from financial reasons. They come from doing something good.
